College graduate planning to return to nursing in California. What is the best way to do it? Nurses?
OK … I graduated I was in New York with a Bachelor of Arts in communication. I am considering major career change and return to school nursing. I'm not sure if I should go to community schools RN license or just the next four-year obtain bachelor's degrees in Nursing. If I go immediately to a single person that I go, even for the first four years, because I already have one (although in other areas!)? I have no idea what to do. Finally, I would like to specialize in a area, but I do not know which is the reason why I think again that I want to be fair and Associates back to BA later. Masters or odd? I am so upset about the best way to approach this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My daughter's did. She had a BA in sociology and went for their BSN. She had to spend a year with expectations for nursing and nursing input into the program, then it took another 2.5 years to complete the BSN. Nursing programs are very structured with severe clinical requirements. A (at least in CA) all schools Nurses are "touched" there are many more applicants than places. Some use a waiting list, while others use random selection by lot from among all "qualified" candidates.
