Can I get a nursing license in 2 states?
I currently live in a state (montana say), But I want to live and work New York. If I get A (Associate degree in nursing), and take the NCLEX (licensing exam), in Montana, then I pass a test in New York, even if I do not live there yet? In essence, what I was wondering if I can get licensed for both Montana and New York, he lives in Montana. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, you may be allowed to practice in more than one state. You must pass a state examination board for each state for that to happen, because review of each state is unique in that particular state. NCLEX examination in not granting a license in any state.
