How do I renew my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license?
I was / Caregiver CNA almost 5 years. I was an agent "care" (not required for this certificate) for the last 2 years and my work begins today to ask all providers health care for their copy of the CNA, and I do not know how to get their licenses renewed. I have my original certificate from the nursing services. PS This is Texas (States have various laws relating to nursing)
* Your work should be able to handle much of it for you. I would ask HR what to do. If they do not help, please the National Council of nurses and ask them. You might end up with objects to again re-confirmed. In my state (for what it is worth it, I live anywhere near Texas), you must renew every 2 years, and if you let it pass, you must have a course again.
